Linkifile “the App” provides services to process Shopify orders to enable fulfillment of digital products “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account: general settings and information about your store; your store's products and product variants; and paid orders with digital products, including the name and the email of the customer who made the order.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

How Do We Use Your Customer's Personal Information?

We only use customer information (name and email) to display these information for your reference while using our app and to send customers emails to fulfill your digital products. We may also access this information when necessary to provide you with adequate support.

Data Protection

All data are stored in an encrypted database and are also encrypted in transit as it is delivered for your display. Database backups are also encrypted and are deleted after 7 days.

Data Retention

We will maintain your data for our records while you have our app installed. These are all deleted 48 hours after uninstalling our app.

Customer data are also deleted when you ask Shopify to remove a Customer's personal information from your store using the "Erase personal data" button.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
